In grade five, Sue Nelson Buckley discovered she loved to write stories. She was always doodling in a notebook letting her imagination run wild. While she didn’t have an alien move in next door like Hilary in her book Hiding in Plain Sight, she spent weekends on her family’s boat during the summer like Kathryn in The Trouble With Jake.
When she’s not writing, she’s knitting, gardening or exploring the world with her camera. She’s also learning to paint and play the guitar with varying degrees of success. She’ll tell you the key is to never stop trying.
